We see Michael in bed with Lena (literally!) as he speaks to her, and asks if he's going to see her tonight? They set a date, and Kendall hangs up...Boyd pokes his head in and asks if she can spare a minute, but Erica tells him this is not a good time. Nonetheless, Larraby comes into her office and tells her it's about Lena. He asks how much she really knows about her, and Erica says she's one of the smartest hires she's ever made, and her hiring skills are impeccable! Boyd agrees, "Impeccable, but not infallible." Erica suggests if there's something he thinks she should know about Lena, he should just say it. Boyd tells her he's not one to gossip, but he doesn't want to see Bianca get hurt. Erica asks if he's saying that Lena might hurt Bianca romantically, and he admits he doesn't know for sure, but he gets this strange vibe when she's around Bianca. He can't put his finger on it, but it's like she's playing Bianca, and him. Erica insists that from everything she's observed, Lena and Bianca have a very good working relationship, and only a working relationship. Boyd repeats that it's just a gut feeling, and Erica says she does appreciate his concern for Bianca, but Lena's work has been exemplary, and her strategy to counter the Cambias attack was inspired. She thanks him for the heads up, but doesn't think it's necessary, "Believe me, if Lena Condera were up to something, I would definitely know about it." Boyd leaves, and the smile leaves Erica's face...
As things heat up between Michael and Lena again, he says he's sorry the phone call interrupted them. Lena suggests he show her how sorry he really is! Cambias starts to do just that, but their intimate moment is interrupted when Kendall comes to the door! She knocks again and calls out, "It's me - I've got a surprise for you, sexy!" Michael leads Lena to the closet as he tugs on a robe before opening the door. Lena listens as Michael notes that this is a surprise, and Kendall exclaims that this day is full of surprises! She produces a bag from the gift shop and tells him this is massage body oil; as his reward for being so wonderful to her, she's going to be his personal masseuse. When Michael admits he wishes she had called first, she apologetically asks if he's jet-lagged? Did she wake him up? When he says not exactly, she asks why else he would be in bed in the middle of the day? She thinks he looks a little flushed, and asks if he's sick? Cambias retorts that the thought of hot massage oil has him spiking a fever; Kendall says that fever is curable, and suggests they get into bed and see if they can spike it a little higher? Michael regretfully says he's got to turn her down. Kendall says he's been acting really weird, like a pod man, since she came to the door, "You want to tell me what's really going on here?" Michael smoothly says that what is going on is that he'd like to spend the rest of the day in bed with her, but all this time he's been spending here in Pine Valley with her is costing his company money. Kendall admits she didn't even think about that; Michael agrees it's cost him, but it's been well worth it. He adds that one of the things he loves about her is her guileless impulsiveness, but work beckons. Kendall agrees that she should go back to work, but Cambias suggests she go down to the bar and wait for him; he'll speed through this conference call, and then they can have lunch and continue costing his company money! Kendall laughs and agrees it's a date. She kisses him goodbye and leaves, and Michael goes immediately to the closet. Lena comes out with a smile on her face and tells him he's made real progress. Michael takes her in his arms as he says not nearly enough. They go back to bed and resume what they were doing before the interruption.
As they get dressed, Lena notes that Michael feels some attachment for Kendall, but he insists he's got her right where he needs her. "And once she's served her purpose?" Lena asks, and Michael coldly replies, "I'll throw her away." Lena likes that answer and kisses him, but Michael's face shows us something else...
Lena comes to Erica's office and says she has news about Michael Cambias. Erica asks her to sit down and tell her, "Don't keep me in suspense!" Lena tells her it seems that he and Kendall are once again an item; they've been spotted at the Valley Inn, specifically in Michael's hotel room. Erica says Kendall's at it again, and wonders what's in it for Michael? Lena says she's young and beautiful; Erica agrees, but feels that Michael mistakenly thinks Kendall will lead him to her, and she's just a diversion. Lena smiles knowingly as Erica says Michael's main interest is getting a toehold in her company, but he'll learn that Kendall can't get him any closer to Enchantment. Lena brings up the counter leak they planted, and Erica says she did it brilliantly! Lena suggests that she call Harold again, saying that he's interested in anything having to do with the name Cambias. Erica smiles as she says she never underestimates the power of the press, but now it's time to do something more drastic, something fast-acting and permanent. "Like what?" Lena asks, and Erica tells her, "Like poison." Lena laughs that Michael and Kendall might be guilty of corporate espionage, but that hardly seems to warrant a death sentence! Erica doesn't think Kendall is involved in the corporate espionage, but the type of poison she's talking about is a business salvo. Lena asks if she means the poison pill, a device used to prevent hostile takeovers? Erica says yes, and she is counting on her. Lena smiles sweetly as she assures Ms. Kane that this company will remain in the right hands, "Yours." Erica gets a call, and tells Michelle to put it through. She says she's trying to reach Chris Stamp - they had a lunch date. She listens and exclaims, "Chris is where? With Jack Montgomery?" She tells Lena they will continue this later, and dashes out the door.
Lena calls Michael, who is now in the bar with Kendall. She tells him she thought he'd want to know that Erica is developing a poison pill strategy to counter his efforts. Michael gently strokes Kendall's hand as he says she knows what to do. "Consider it done, lover," Lena tells him. Michael hangs up and smiles as he looks into Kendall's eyes.

The ***hat was ****ing Lena in addition to Kendall...Kendall continues to gush to The ***hat about the ugly necklace. The ***hat continues his caressing of Lena. Kendall decides to go surprise him with a midday quickie. Mia and Smoan are surprised that Kendall managed to remain at work for ten whole minutes. I swear, if it wasn’t because she was the one that keeps them in the building, I bet they’d boot her lazy ass to the curb SO quick. Meanwhile, I think Kendall got dressed in the dark again. Peach shirt. Purple skirt. No more words are necessary...
...Boyd comes in and wants to talk to Erica about Lena. He’s worried about her on Bianca’s behalf.
The ***hat and Lena continue to grope and suck face. They’re talking a little bit, but I’m too busy staring at his butt to pay attention. Kendall comes a-knocking on his door...
...Boyd confesses to Erica that Lena gives him the wiggens. Erica pooh-poohs Boyd’s concerns. Once he leaves, she looks thoughtful like she might be worried after all. But who knows?
The ***hat stashes Lena in the closet. I’m sure there’s a joke here somewhere about Lena in a closet, but it escapes me at the moment. I’m sure you all can make your own fun. Kendall bounces in all perky. Lena stifles her snickers at how clueless she is. You know, I just noticed how many storylines currently hinge on the ignorance of a lot of main characters.
Kendall picks up on The ***hat’s reluctance for sex and concludes that he’s jetlagged. Or sick. Which is why she thinks he was in bed in the middle of the day. But then she decides that he’s acting a bit TOO weird and wants to know what’s really going on with him....
The ***hat says that his continued stays in Pine Valley are costing his company money. He tells Kendall to wait for him down in the bar while he irons everything out with a “conference call.”
Lena comes out of the closet (Bianca wishes!) and she and ***hat make the two-backed beast thing again...
Lena is curious if The ***hat is becoming attached to Kendall. He begs to differ. He says that he’s got her right where he wants her. “And when she’s served her purpose?” Lena inquires. “I’ll throw her away,” he declares. But he looks a little conflicted as he says it...
Lena arrives at Enchantment with news for Erica that Kendall and The ***hat are definitely doing it. She reports that the two have been spotted at the Valley Inn. Erica thinks that ***hat is trying to get at her company through Kendall but that he’s a fool for thinking that tactic would accomplish anything. Erica has a new idea: poison...
The poison Erica has in mind is a anti-hostile takeover strategy called a poison pill. She tells Lena to lay the ground work...
