SYNOPSIS

Kendall finds out that Lena concocted "Barton Phillips" to take the fall for the phony lawsuit under Michael's orders; MIchael tells Kendall that Lena's current assignment is to seduce Bianca; Kendall tells Michael that Erica does not suspect Lena; Bianca returns to the hospital without Lena and tells Kendall that Lena went out for takeout; Kendall starts to tell Bianca about Lena. Next on AMC, Lena snarks on Kendall's familial ties with LaKane and favored daughter, Bianca.

Kendall argues that they can’t work together if he [Michael] doesn’t trust her, and Cambias accuses her of wanting Lena to know that she knows, “Why is that?” Kendall shrugs as she admits she felt Lena had a part of him that belonged to her, “I was jealous—sue me.” She goes on that she had to make sure Erica didn’t suspect Lena was his mole, and found that Lena’s cover story is working beautifully. Cambias agrees and adds, “It was brilliant of my Lena to concoct that little piece of fiction, wasn't it?” He agrees it was on his orders, and Kendall asks if she always does what she’s told? When he tells her “Without question,” Kendall asks if he told Lena to seduce her sister? Michael agrees that Lena’s current assignment is to get Bianca into bed, “Trust me, it's not an unpleasant one.” He goes on that Lena is going to seduce Bianca so she’ll go after Boyd’s formula, adding that’s what she was supposed to do, but failed. Lena wonders what makes him think Bianca will do any better? Michael tells her, “Because Bianca is Boyd's good friend, and, unlike you, she's trustworthy. He won't know what hit him.”...

Learning that Lena went for some take-out, Kendall asks if Lena is a friend or a girlfriend? Bianca says she’s a girlfriend; they haven’t been together long, but what they have is real, and she doesn’t want to talk to her about this. When she’s in a new relationship with a man, does everybody automatically assume that it's not going to work out? That it'll just burn itself out or, better yet, that whoever he is, he's just going through a phase and once he snaps out of it, he'll realize…? Kendall says she just doesn’t want Bianca to be alone, “No matter how we feel about each other, I think you're a good person and you deserve to be with someone.” Wary of this new attitude, Bianca asks what is this? Kendall asks if they can go somewhere more private? “I have something I have to tell you.”...

Kendall declares that she was with Erica because she was finding out if she suspected Lena at all. The tactic works and *sshat gives her more info as he confirms that Lena concocted the fake Bart to take the fall for the phony lawsuit under his orders. Kendall does more fishing as she asks if Lena always does what she’s told. “Without question,” *sshat smugly overstates. Kendall looks a bit dismayed as she asks if he told Lena to seduce her sister...

Maggie breaks from making out with Henry because she has to go to the bathroom. I’m sorry, bath-what? Room? Someone actually has to pee? And said so? Wow, first AMC breaks taboos with the lesbian kiss, now this. This is the best sweeps ever...

Kendall tries again to talk to Bianca. This time she brings up Lena and asks if they’re girlfriends or just friends. Bianca remains distant but answers the question. Kendall moves on in her line of inquiry to ask how long they’ve been together and if it’s serious. Bianca doesn’t want to talk about her love life with Kendall nor does she like having to justify her feelings. “When you’re involved in a new relationship with a man, does everybody automatically assume that it’s not going to work out?” Uhhh, duh, yeah! That’s all we ever freaking hear from people when Kendall’s got her head banging against someone’s headboard. Kendall, for her part, doesn’t noogie Bianca on the head and go, “Helloooo… McFly…” She just says that she doesn’t want her sister to be alone. Despite their animosity, she just wants Bianca to be happy. Bianca obviously is wondering if she’s slipped into some alternate universe where Kendall is nice and asks what the f*** is going on. Kendall takes a step closer, lowers her voice and reveals that she has something to tell her...

On the next All My Children
Greenlee accuses Carlos of being a liar.
Lena twists the knife as she points out that Kendall is not part of Erica and Bianca’s family.
Smoan declares that her new PR scheme won’t land her in jail this time.
Jack repeats his marriage proposal.

TODAY ON AMC:

Elsewhere - BadGuy Michael is giving Kendall the third degree about her having been with Erica. Eh, next.

A girl wearing something that looks an awful lot like a nightgown but which, I am sure, she thinks is a sexy black dress, is setting the table. It's a romantic dinner. I know because it's dark and she lit a candle and placed it on the table. I am a spy, I pick up on things.

Another girl. Oh, she is the famous Maggie of many MANY Bianca/Maggie fics. I don't like her 'cause she played Bianca: Maggie is bad. Yes, very bad. Pfft. She is kissing a dude.


At the hospital - Erica is still in ComatoseJack's hospital room. And she is talking. And talking. And talking. She says she won't leave him. Ok, so Erica and ComatoseJack have a past. It occurs to me Pine Valley is the equivalent of a Lesbian Incestuous Circle. You know what I mean: once you hang in a lesbian group, you begin to cross-date. Or you end up having dated everyone. This is what's going on here.


Where are Lena and Bianca? Lena got Bianca to trust her and they went off and we don't know where they are!


Kendall just asked BadGuy Michael whether he has asked Lena to seduce Bianca. She does not seem happy with the idea that Lena may be dating her sister as part of a StealTheFormula Plan. You know, I was perfectly happy not liking Kendall: now they're giving her a sliver of a redeeming quality and I have to find something to like about her. Soaps are Evil. You know, Kendall reminds me of a friend of mine, Chiara: they both have those sunk-in eyes thing.


Again, I ask, just where are Lena and Bianca? If they’re making out, I want to see it.


Michael: "Lena's current assignment is to get Bianca in bed."
Kendall: "Do you have any idea how much this will hurt Bianca?"

Michael calls Bianca "an anorexic lesbian with a narcissistic mother."

So--this well establishes Michael is a b******. His new name shall heretofore be known as B******Michael.

Kendall does not look happy. Do NOT make me like Kendall d*** it.

Kendall: "I just don't think Bianca deserves to get her heart broken."

Here's Bianca! Uhm, wait, where the heck is Lena? Oh, I see: AMC has taken a page off ER's Playbook and they're not going to tell us.

Bianca is telling off Kendall. She is saying Kendall took advantage of Boyd's feelings for her. Yes, yet another plot line I know nothing about. Other than this: I know Kendall was, like B******Michael, after the formula and she used ChemistBoyd's feelings for her to try to get it.

Well, this is interesting, considering Lena might be doing the same thing to Bianca. Oh, those sly AMC writers: they are as subtle as an anvil.

There is a cute Asian boy. Unfortunately, I am as interested in his story line as I am in chocolate. Skipping ahead.

Oh, Bianca and Kendall again.

Kendall: "Did you find Lena?"
Bianca: "Ah, yeah, she went out for take-out."
Kendall: "So...is Lena a friend or a girlfriend?"
Bianca: "Why do you care?"
Kendall: "I care Bianca. Will you please answer me?"

Kendall is looking at Bianca while Bianca is looking at everything and everyone else. Kendall seems very concerned, Bianca is barely suffering Kendall's presence.

Finally Bianca turns to look at Kendall.

Bianca: "Lena is a girlfriend."
Kendall: "Really, so...how long have you been together?
Bianca: "Not long but what...what we have is real."
Kendall: "How do you know that?"
Bianca: "You know Kendall, I really don't wanna talk about this with you"
Kendall: "Why not?"
Bianca: "Why do I always have to justify my feelings? I mean, when you're involved in a relationship with a man, does everybody automatically assume it's not going to work out? That it'll just burn itself out or better yet that - that whoever he is is going through a phase and once he snaps out of it he'll..."
Kendall: "No, I'm not thinking that! I'm not thinking that. Ok? I just - I just don't want you to be alone. No matter how we feel about each other I think you're a good person and you deserve to be with someone..."
Bianca: "What is this?"

Yeah Bianca, if I didn't know what Kendall knows about Lena, I would be puzzled just like you seem to be. I say "seem" because, having read the script, you too know what Kendall knows. You just can't let on that you know, hence the acting.

Kendall: "Can we go somewhere more private? I have something I have to tell you."

Do any of you believe Kendall is actually going to find the time or a way to speak with Bianca alone? U-huh. Didn't think so.

Erica, again next to ComatoseJack. God, that guy just cannot get a break. And now Erica is explaining to the nurse the surgery ComatoseJack has just undergone. I think the nurse knows, Erica.

Uh-oh! ComatoseJack's ear has just fallen off. Heh heh.

Uhm, how can I break this to you? I'll do it gently.

Erica: "Jack, I accept your proposal."

And guys, had I been telling you what Erica has been babbling about, you'd know she is referring to his marriage proposal.

ComatoseJack: "You love me."

Yes, yes, La Kane's love has brought Jack back to life: no jokes about him waking up just to tell her to shut up.

Erica: "Do you know who I am?"

Greenlee was getting ready for her first date with Carlos.
Greenlee: Let's see, I've ordered the dinner- lit 400 candles - looks like everything is ready. Oh Leo, you're probably somewhere laughing about all this aren't you? Here I am all nervous about dating someone new. But you know he'll never replace you in my heart. Why right now I have more chemistry with your picture than I'll ever have with him.

Then Carlos arrived.
Carlos: Here I am. I've come to suck the life out of this scene.
Greenlee: You're succeeding.
Lizzie: You two carry on without me. I'm going to feed my dog.
Carlos: That's OK. We're probably the most boring couple on AMC these days.
Greenlee: Not quite. Maggie and Henry are on today too.

Maggie and Henry went to the restaurant.
Maggie: Do you think your mother will mind if I'm here?
Henry: I don't care. Playing my guitar and having sex has made me unafraid to face my mother.
Lizzie: You two carry on without me. I'm going to empty the dishwasher.
Henry's mother: Now do you see why I'm opposed to this relationship? They're boring me silly too.

Michael and Kendall talked at the hospital.
Michael: Why were you here with Erica?
Kendall: I was making sure that she doesn't suspect that we're working together.
Michael: Can I trust you?
Kendall: Of course. I'm just as sneaky as you are. I just know how to make my slime trail look like lip gloss. So is Lena seducing Bianca on your orders?
Michael: Of course. I always send my mistresses out to seduce other people. I'm just really creepy that way. I'm also probably a poster child for STD's.
Kendall: I think you should leave now. Hospital cleaning fumes are bad for slugs. You're starting to melt.
Michael: How sweet of you to care. I'll just be oozing along.

Then Kendall talked to Bianca.
Kendall: Are you and Lena serious?
Bianca: Why do I always have to explain my relationships? When you date a guy does everyone expect it to be doomed to failure?
Kendall: Of course they do. I'm Erica's daughter.
Bianca: Well it was your own fault that you messed things up with Boyd. He really cared about you and you used him. I'm glad I don't know anyone who would do something like that.
Kendall: Hmm, heavy foreshadowing here I would say. Bianca I need to talk to you privately.

Aidan confronted Chris in the hospital hallway.
Aidan: Whot are yew dewing ere? Did yew come to finish the poor bloke off?
Chris: I ain't de one dat did dis. Sure I talked de hit man into stayin in town and I told him dat Montgomery was a dirty bum dat boinked my woman but I never thought he'd kill de guy.
Aidan: Oi'm appy to ere that. Oi oped yew weren't the one what did im in.
Lizzie: I think my spell check just exploded.
Chris: I do feel guilty cause I wanted de guy dead.
Erica: What do you mean you wanted him dead? You did this? I can't believe I ever agreed to marry you. I should have listened to all those message people who said you were no good. I hope I never see you again.
Chris: Youse probably won't. I'm being written off.
Aidan: Oi don't think Chris shawt Jack imself.
Erica: Then who did?
Aidan: Oi don't know. But Oi swear on me spotted dick Oi'll find the bloke whot did and mike im pigh.

Erica returned to Jack's bedside.
Erica: Jack, there's good news and bad news. The bad news is that you were shot, you nearly bled to death, and you may never be the same again. The good news is that I decided I love you after all. So I guess getting a hole blown in your chest wasn't all bad now was it?

Kendall: You. That you had some ulterior motive in dating me. She'd been saying that since Aspen. So she felt superior, and it was very easy for her to see how much I despise you now.
Michael: That's good. That's good. Very impressive, very impressive. Actually, you know, I think I'm going to believe you because I just sort of like the vision of you standing in front of Erica degrading yourself. You know, and that, plus that if you're lying to me, I’ll make you pay.
Kendall: Oh, screw this. Screw this. I don't have to put up with this abuse, not for 10 Enchantments. If I have to justify myself every time I do something, I can take down Erica on my own. I don't need you.
Michael: Kendall, Kendall -- just wait a second.

Bianca: Oh, he's -- he's still unconscious. I'm more worried about mom right now. I don't know how she's going to react if he wakes up and something's wrong.
Kendall: Something -- something wrong like what?
Bianca: Well, like -- he lost a lot of blood. And they don't even know how long he was in that alley before he was found, so --
Kendall: Oh, Bianca, I'm sorry.
Bianca: You know what, Kendall? Just save it.
Kendall: Look, I'm only trying to --
Bianca: What, to comfort me? Why?
Kendall: What do you mean, why?
Bianca: What, because you're my sister and you love me?
Kendall: No, you feel bad.
Bianca: Well, as bad as I feel right now, I imagine that Boyd felt even worse when you were through with him. I mean, you pretended to care about him for your own selfish reasons. What you did was really low, Kendall.
Kendall: What if I had a really good reason for doing what I did?
Bianca: Kendall, your reasons don't matter. You took advantage of somebody's feelings for you. That's totally unforgivable.
