RE-CAPS:

From The Official Site at ABC.com:
http://abc.go.com/daytime/allmychildren/episodes/2003-04/20031006.html

Bianca admits to Maggie that she still has feelings for Lena. Maggie encourages Bianca to talk to Lena and tell her the truth about her pregnancy. Lena tells Bianca that she loves her.

From About All My Children
http://allmychildren.about.com/cs/recaps/a/bl20031006r.htm

Maggie and Bianca are at the bulletin board in the Student Center when Lena comes in. She sees the paper Bianca is holding and asks if she’s looking for an apartment? Bianca laughs that she can’t live with her mother forever, and asks why Lena’s there. Lena explains she’s posting job listings, recruiting graduates from the business school to work for Kendall, and is meeting the department chair. Bianca wishes her luck with everything, and Lena leaves with the professor.

Maggie asks Bianca if she’s going to ignore what just happened? Bianca tells her too much time has passed and things are much too complicated; she and Lena are better off the way things are. Maggie thought she just saw fireworks, unless she was mistaken. Bianca admits it was real. She agrees that she and Lena could be happy together, in her dreams! Then she wakes up. Too much has happened, and now she’s pregnant with his baby—how can she expect Lena to understand that and accept Michael Cambias’ child? Besides, Lena said she didn’t want kids, so how can she hit her with all of this, especially since she seems so together now? Maggie accuses her of freaking out just like the day she was coming back to school; she’s assuming she knows how Lena will react, and not giving her a chance to tell her, “Why don’t you just go ask her?” She understands that things are complicated for her, but hates to see her act out of fear. Maybe Lena will say “Yuck!” because it’s Michael’s baby, but she may surprise her, and it wouldn’t be so bad having her around the next couple of months. Maggie urges her to talk to her as Lena concludes her meeting, and comes over to tell Bianca it was good to run into her. She suggests maybe they could have coffee sometime, and Bianca asks, “How about right now?” Maggie tells Bianca she’s late for class, and she forgot to feed her fish! Saying there’s coffee in her room, she thrusts her key into Bianca’s hand and rushes off.

As they look in the tank in Maggie’s room, Lena comments that people would be much better off if they were like fish; two were locking lips, and the rest don’t care what sex they are. She laughs that she thought Maggie was just pretending to have fish so they could have somewhere to talk. When Bianca says Maggie just wants her to be happy, Lena asks if she is beginning to be, maybe? Bianca agrees she’s beginning to be; she has so many people in her life who love her, and she’s not alone. Lena says that includes her, that she still loves Bianca; Bianca looks away, and Lena calls it a mistake in saying what she did. Bianca knows she loves her, but it still feels strange when she says it; she likes just being here with her. That means everything to Lena, who reminds Bianca she can tell her anything, no matter what. Bianca admits she doesn’t know that, and Lena asks, “What do you have to tell me?”...

ON THE NEXT ALL MY CHILDREN:
Bianca tells Lena there's a lot more that she doesn't know.
Simone suggests to Mia that they could cut out Kendall and Greenlee and run Fusion alone.
When Kendall tells Ryan he's already caused enough trouble, he tells her there's plenty more where that came from!
Jack is stunned when Derek tells David that his gun is a match for the gun that killed Michael Cambias.

Lena parts are indicated in red for those who only want a Lena fix

TODAY ON ALL MY GEOMETRIC CHILDREN:

The Set-Up – At Fusion, Kendall tries to rally the troops, then remembers her troops are Simone and Mia. Greenlee arrives, bearing gifts.

Simone: "For someone who is so self-centered, you remembered what everyone likes."

Simone, thanks for making my job seamless.

At the PVI, Juan Pablo asks Ryan to join him for breakfast and compliments him on his theatrical flair. Ryan’s gay then? Ok.

At the police station, Aiden drops David’s gun on the desk. Look, it’s in a Ziploc: you simply must forgo all the rules of evidence and procedure and use this at trial.

At PVU, Bianca looks for apartment ads on the bulletin board; Maggie hands her one and says "this might be just what you want," while looking directly at Lena. Bianca looks up, sees her and smiles. I’m sure some will say this was a muscle spasm, but I live on planet earth.

Adam’s Crib – Back from her morning ride, Mary discovers that, since J.R. is back in town, she’s to go back to the Valley Inn – courtesy of Adam’s cash. Just as Mary informs Adam that he can’t kick her out because she’s heard all about him and Palmer and, who knows, she might forget not to discuss it with anyone else, Tad walks in and does his impression of Woody Woodpecker.

Police Station – With David present, Aiden admits he stole the gun – but it was only because he wanted to have it tested, honest! Jack says they can’t test it because they have no probable cause – oh! He got one right! – so Aiden tells them about the night David was pouring scotch into the plant and – hold on tight to your seats for this one – David wanted Michael dead. Someone wanted *ssHat’s head to roll? Well. I am shocked, shocked!

PVU – Lena looks gorgeous, have I mentioned that already? Good hair day today, too. And she's wearing the ring, of course: I think that’s nice narrative, but I’m not sold on its symbolism or usefulness, though I get the message Lena’s sending with it.

Bianca explains that she’s looking for an apartment because she "can’t live with [her] mother forever" and Lena tells her she’s there to recruit. No, not Maggie and not that way: she’s recruiting fresh Business School grads to work for Kendall and is meeting with the Department Chair, whom she greets soon after. Maggie joins Bianca again.

Maggie: "Excuse me? Are you going to ignore what just happened?"
Bianca:
"You know Maggie, too much time has passed, it’s far too complicated and Lena and I are both better off the way things are."
Maggie: "Oh, really? ‘Cause I thought I just saw fireworks and the New York Symphony in the background – unless I was mistaken."

You got all that? From the apartment/recruiting conversation? Maybe you are gay: a flaming gay man with theatrical flair. Huh, I guess that makes you Ryan.

Bianca:
"No, you weren’t mistaken. It was real."

You know, I do hate to burst people’s dreams; just the other day, I was reading a thread on a certain board and every post was about Bianca’s love for Lena and the fact that it’s not the "in love" kind. U-huh. There is your bubble. Here is my needle.

PVI – Juan Pablo tells Ryan that he’s about to lose Fusion’s "most valuable asset," Greenlee, and that he’s offered her backing for "a brand new venture." Ryan, who has taken charm classes from Mary and Erica, tells JP that Greenlee "didn’t mention that to [him] when she came to [his] room last night."

I think JP just dislocated his own jaw.

Fusion – Greenlee wants Kendall to accept Ryan’s offer, which Mia thinks is the craziest idea ever since "everyone wants to know Fusion’s sexiest man." I understand the sexiest man contest was not devised for my own demographic - gay and intelligent - but I do appreciate a man’s crunchy candy component (see Aiden) and I have yet to see anyone even remotely good looking on that list. Also, I have yet to meet anyone interested in the outcome.

Greenlee suggests that the four of them could combine the money from the buyout with her trust fund and, with Juan Pablo’s backing, they could start a new company: imagine what they could accomplish with everything they now know about the business world! I’m sorry, what?

PVU – Maggie and Bianca chat about Lena.

Bianca: "Yes, Lena and I could be happy together – in my dreams. Then I wake up, Maggie. You know, too much has happened and now I’m pregnant with this baby: how can I possibly expect Lena to understand and accept that? It’s Michael Cambias’ child. Besides, Lena once told me that she doesn’t want kids, so how can I hit her with all of this?"

We all agree it would have been better to start talking with Lena earlier, Bianca. And what are these off-camera conversations about? We already get so little of you two, I don’t think it’s appropriate for you and Lena to chat about little monsters when we can’t hear you. Speaking of which, maybe Lena has changed her mind: I can’t seem to make up my mind about kids, so it wouldn’t be so unrealistic for Lena not to be firm on it, either. Plus, come on, the woman would stick her head in a tiger’s mouth if you asked her to and she would love every second of it.

Maggie: "You’re assuming what Lena is going to think and how she’s going to react and you’re not giving her a chance to tell you. She’s right there: why don’t you go ask her?"

Assumptions drive me crazy and Maggie’s absolutely right. Bianca, when Maggie makes sense, listen to her. As opposed to…you know.

Police Station – Everyone, please don’t take matters into your own hands while Lt. Frye sits behind his desk: kindly wait until he gets up and moves. Thank you.

Adam’s Crib – Mary thinks she can help Adam reconnect with J.R.: when will this happen, on an Olsen twin sponsored Opposite Day?

Brooke, Jaime, Liza and Marian arrive and are joined by Dr. Martin and Ruth; this must be what McHack meant when she promised to bring the old timers back on the screen: walk-on parts. Splendid.

Police Station – Lt. Frye is about to arrest Aiden for theft and breaking and entering, but Jack stops him; he’s not suggesting Derek ignore a crime, no: he’s suggesting he might want to kick this one, and that is entirely different. Derek charges Aiden anyway and also takes David’s gun to the lab because, he says, "it’s standard procedure to test every gun that comes in against unsolved crimes." Not guns known to have been obtained illegally, Derek.

David: "You’d better stop this, Jack, or else someone very close to Bianca is going to be in very serious trouble."

If David’s gun was the one used to kill Michael, then that crosses out just about everyone as a suspect, so I’m going to ignore this clue.

PVU – Maggie understands that things are complicated but hates to see Bianca "act out of fear."

Bianca:
"Fear?"
Maggie: "Well, yeah. Maybe she’ll say ‘yuck’ and freak out because it’s Michael Cambias’ baby, but, you know, maybe she’ll surprise you. And it wouldn’t be so bad having her around the next couple of months, now would it?"
Bianca:
"No, it wouldn’t be so bad."

Maggie: "So, go tell her. Come on. You’re not going to see her every day, you know."

It’s nice to see this BFF thing work as it’s supposed to, isn’t it? When she forgets to obsess and ditches her jailer keys, Maggie is a very good friend to Bianca. At this point, I don’t know what to make of those boathouse comments she made blaming Lena for Bianca’s rape – other than the fact that AMC writers, who are too lazy to write a compelling plot, needed something to push Lena to commit suicide.

Lena walks over and says that it was "good to run into" Bianca.

Lena: "Maybe we can have coffee sometime."
Bianca: "How about right now?"
Lena: "Yes, great, why not?"
Bianca: "And we can get caught up on some things."

Ok, but only so caught up that you’ll still have a reason to break up later, mmmk?

Lena suggests they find a table where they are, but Maggie jumps in, says she’s late for class and has forgotten to feed her fish; she hands her keys to Bianca, says "there’s coffee in [her] room" and leaves. Elizabeth did a great job with that line: very, very cute.

Lena and Bianca take off; Maggie watches them from the stairs and – hum: triangle? I can’t tell what kind of triangle yet, but it’s something with three sides and an hypotenuse.

Fusion – Ryan pits Greenlee against Kendall, Mia and Simone by revealing the particulars of Greenlee’s plan and successfully deepens the already crater-like rift. Greenlee shoves him into it.

PVI – Edmund joins Juan Pablo and tells him he wants to discuss the Calatravas, "an Argentinean crime family." Oh, crap: does Beastmund have to be involved with the Cambias case, Ryan and Juan Pablo? Yeah, we don’t see enough of you and your offending elbow, you fur ball.

Edmund spins The Story Of Brave Carlos, Murder Of Rapists, and then gets to his point: members of the Calatrava family have arrived in Miami and "the feds don’t know why or where they’re headed." Maybe so, but I can see this is going to bring Borearlos back, front and center. Yay. As you can see, I have a horrible time trying to keep my enthusiasm in check.

Maggie’s Room – Lena and Bianca are watching the fish. We all know that joke, AMC: move on.

Lena muses that "people would be much better off if they were like fish."

Lena: "See these two? Just a minute ago they were locking lips but the rest of them, they don’t care what sex they are."

So, you spend a lot of time thinking about fish and their sex life, do you? You’re such a geek, that’s why I like you so much.

Bianca: "Well, I guess the scales fell from their eyes."

Remember the really bad flirting Lena and Bianca used to do, especially that time at S.O.S. when Bianca found Waitress!Lena? The one good thing about Bianca recovering from the rape is that the bad flirting stops a hell of a lot sooner now.

Lena says she thought Maggie "was just pretending to have fish" so that they could talk.

Bianca: "Maggie just wants me to be happy."
Lena: "And are you? I mean, beginning to be, maybe?"
Bianca: "Beginning to be."
Lena: "I’m so glad to hear that."
Bianca: "I feel so much less alone now. I mean, I have so many people in my life who love me."

Oh, nice, Bianca. Yeah, tell that to the one person whom you’ve completely discarded: I’m sure she loves being reminded of that.

Lena: "Of course you do, and that includes me, because I still love you, just as much as ever. Ok, I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have said that. It was a mistake, wasn’t it?"

Oh yes, it’s always a mistake to let people know they’re loved, especially when they need to know it. Yes, it’s a horrible, horrible mistake: how could you, Lena? How could you pressure Bianca like this by pointing out that her fears are baseless and her dreams can actually be reality? Bianca, come on: wake up any time now.

Police Station – Jack slams the door and demands to know what David and Erica have done and, naïve lump of man that he is, tells David that, if Erica is involved in Michael’s murder, it’s because he "dragged her into it." Jack, seriously, have you met the same Erica we all know?

Adam’s Crib –J.R. asks Mary to stay at the house, greets everyone and offers his services as a potato peeler. Will that make you go off to the kitchen, never to be seen again?

The Last Scenes – At the police station, David tells Jack that Erica came to him for help; Lt. Frye walks in and says the ballistic report is in. Well, ok, what he says is that he has the results "on the bullet." You caught me.

In Maggie’s room, Bianca says that she knows Lena loves her but "it’s still strange to hear [Lena] say it."

Lena: "Yes, of course. You don’t have to respond. We’ll just let it go."

Yeah, why should today be any different? Bianca has told just about everyone in Pine Valley that she loves you, so you can just ask them about it: why have resolution when 30 fans can just refer to you as desperate instead? We all need a character to kick around and, this century, that character is you. Chin up, Lena.

Bianca: "I like just being here with you."

Sniff. You b*******, why did you stick this at the end when you know I’m just itching to get the recap done?

Lena: "That means everything to me. Bianca, you know I told you once, you can tell me anything, anything in the world, no matter what. You know that’s still true."

Bianca would rather have an amputation then tell you what she has to, Lena, and we all understand that. Some of us get the real reasons, others just live on another planet where you’re not disgustingly in love with each other, but we all get it.

Bianca: "No, I don’t think I do know that."
Lena: "Why not?
Bianca: "Because –"
Lena: "What is it Bianca, what do you have to tell me?"

Well, if you shut up, I’m sure she’ll tell you!

At Fusion – oh, screw this: Greenlee, Kendall and Ryan get stuck in the elevator. Meh and Feh to you.

TOMORROW ON ALL MY CHILDREN: Bianca tells Lena that there is a lot she doesn’t know; Simone and Mia think about cutting Kendall and Greenlee out of Fusion; Kendall tells Ryan to mind his own business; Lt. Frye says David’s gun is a match for the weapon that killed Michael Cambias.

PARODY

This parody is by LizzieT.

Ryan joined Juan Pablo for breakfast.
Ryan: Why did you ask me to join you?
Juan Pablo: I feel that you are taking my place as a part of every story. If I wish to remain the center of attention I must appear in scenes with you.
Ryan: I'm kind of busy. I own this whole town you know.
Juan Pablo: But you are about to lose Fusion's greatest asset. Greenlee wishes to leave the company and start her own business.
Ryan: Funny, she didn't tell me that when she came to my hotel room last night. Are you jealous?
Juan Pablo: No. She may visit your hotel room but has she asked you to seduce her mother? Has she hidden for days in your closet? If not, then she and I share something special that you have no understanding of.

Edmund talks to Juan Pablo next.
Edmund: Juan Pablo, I have something to tell you. I know what Carlos did and Argentinian gangsters have arrived in Miami.
Juan Pablo: I am sorry. I find this information uninteresting.
Edmund: That's OK. I doubt the audience cares either.
Juan Pablo: Then why are you getting involved in all of this?
Edmund: I think I'm being punished for complaining about my last storyline.

Greenlee had a proposition for Kendall.
Greenlee: I think you should accept Ryan's buyout offer for Fusion. He'd pay you a lot of cash.
Kendall: What do I need with a lot of cash?
Greenlee: Oh, I don't know. Maybe you could use it to pay your legal fees, especially since you're suspect number 1 in the "Who Killed MIchael" sweepstakes.
Kendall: I was suspect number 1 last week. I think there's a new suspect number 1 this week. I don't care about the money. I'm not giving up Fusion.
Greenlee: Think about it. You could sell right now and the four of us could start up a new company. With a little luck we could get out of it before that stupid sexiest man announcement is made and no one could blame that mess on us.
Kendall: It's tempting but I still want to hang on to Fusion.
Ryan: I respect that idea. I told Greenlee last night that the only flaw in her plan to buy Fusion from me and put herself in total control is that you probably wouldn't sell it to me.
Kendall: You mean Greenlee betrayed me? How could she? Who does she think she is - me?
Greenlee: I can't believe you told them I tried to get control of Fusion for myself. How dare you?
Ryan: What? I just told the truth.
Greenlee: I know. How dare you? The last thing we need around here is someone who tells the truth.
Kendall: That settles it. There's no way I'll give up Fusion now.
Ryan: I think this is a good time for me to leave.
Greenlee: I'm coming with you.
Kendall: I'm not letting the two of you leave without me.
Greenlee: Let's just push all the buttons on the elevator and see what happens. Uh oh, it looks like we're stuck. Strange, I get the feeling I've done a scene like this before.
Laura: You have. Too bad Kendall doesn't have a cuckoo clock.

Bianca was suprised to see Lena at the student union.
Lena: I'm here recruiting students to work for Kendall.
Bianca: Why does she need student employees?
Lena: I don't know. But I like this setup better than the one where I had to swallow poison to get you and Kendall to the clinic at the same time.
Maggie: You should tell her everything. I think she'd understand.
Bianca: Do you really think so?
Maggie: I don't know. But those message board people are always picking on me for keeping the two of you apart so I thought I'd push you together this time. Why don't the two of you have coffee in my dorm room?
Bianca: Sounds like a plan.

Later Bianca and Lena talked.
Lena: Isn't this nice? The fish can kiss and no one cares if they're the same sex or not.
Fish: Great. Now that you put that idea in their heads, we'll never get any more screen time.
Lena: Sorry. So how have you been Bianca? Are things better for you now?
Bianca: Yes, in a way. I know I have a lot of people that love me.
Lena: I hope you know that I am one of them.
Bianca: Great. Now that you've said that we'll probably never get any more screen time.
Lena: Sorry. Is there anything you'd like to tell me?
Bianca: No. I never tell anyone anything. You'd think I'd start to catch on after a while that keeping secrets hasn't helped me any.
Lena: It's all right. If soap characters ever learned from their mistakes there would be no story.

Aidan appeared at the police station.
Aidan: Oi've found the murder weapon whot killed Moichal.
Derek: Where did you get that?
David: He stole it. Arrest this man.
Aidan: Yew can't arrest me. Sometoims laws are mide to be broken.
Derek: Why did you steal his gun?
Aidan: Tew prewve that he was the rotter whot killed Moichal. The law must be obighed at all cost yew know. Dighvid said e wonted Moichael dead.
David: So did a lot of people.
Jack: Hey, don't look at me. Anyway, I don't think we have to arrest Aidan for this.
Derek: I disagree. Officer take this man down and book him.
Officer: Right. Come along. We have your old cell waiting on you.
David: Not me you imbecile. Arrest him.
Officer: Sorry, force of habit.
David: So can I have my gun back?
Derek: No. We have to analyze it to see if it was used in any crimes. It's what we do with stolen weapons.
David: Jack, you'd better do something. If they analyze that gun they might find out that someone you know was involved.
Jack: You mean Erica?
David: No, I mean the Easter Bunny. Of course I mean Erica.
Jack: How did you drag Erica into all of this?
David: It was her idea. She said I was the only man she'd ever really asked to commit a crime for her. How could I say no?
Derek: I have the lab results - and before the commercial break too. Let's see that CSI lab top that one.
Jack: What are the results?
Derek: Sorry. I'll save them for tomorrow's episode. Do you know how long it's been since I've been on two days in a row?

Mary was surpised to find that Adam had packed her things.
Mary: Are you throwing me out?
Adam: I prefer calling it helping you to relocate. My son is back and I don't want him to be uncomfortable with you around.
Mary: But I like young men his age.
Adam: That's what I'm afraid of.
Mary: You can't get rid of me. I'll tell everyone that you might be involved in the Michael Cambias murder.
Tad: That's old news. You'll have to do better than that.
Adam: What are you doing here?
Tad: JR invited me for breakfast.
Brooke: Me too.
Liza: Mother and I got an invitation.
Joe: So did Ruth and I. Looks like a Backburner Celebration here.
JR: Good, you're all here.
Mary: Your father's trying to throw me out.
JR: Let her stay Dad. My first storyline might be a fling with an older woman.
Liza: Does he remind you of anyone?
Brooke: You mean Lucky on General Hospital?
Liza: I was thinking of Adam but now that you mention it.....
JR: Now I need to take a mysterious phone call.
Adam: And I need to listen in.
Liza: Don't do that.
Adam: I have to. What if he's calling that Laurie kid? Does anyone really want to see her come back?
Tad: He's got a point.
Adam: JR, let me take you to the club and show everyone that you've been recast. All the other businessmen made fun of me when that other guy was playing my son.
JR: Sorry. I'm busy. I'm hanging out with Jamie.....You are Jamie aren't you?
Jamie: Yes.
JR: Just making sure. I thought maybe they finally SORAS'D Petey.

Bianca: Because –
