WHAT HAPPENED (CC)

[84] The auction benefitted the Hollywood Horse Show Charities, an umbrella organization founded by William Shatner to benefit several children's charities including Ahead With Horses. The item fetching the highest amount was the Xena CD Soundtrack autographed by Lucy Lawless, which went for $200.00.

[85] Below is a list of items and the winning bids.

ANOTHER PERSPECTIVE (LS)

[86] The auction begins as a call for alms for a charity and ends with a sort of "Which hero raised more money?" Those who purchase a piece of divinity are nameless and faceless, the master of ceremonies/auctioneer moving on quickly to the next item. They sit reverently as Lucy Lawless' voice echoes through the hall, singing a nameless lament. It is a little haunting, a little eerie.
