Cartographer J.G. Barbie du Bocage created the same time an atlas of the travels. There were sequels by other authors. Anacharsis travels in Greece were set during the Peloponnesian Wars in the 4th Century BC as were the adventures of Xena. Xenite scholars should acquaint themselves with Anacharsis for it has been said of him as a character, "it is difficult to overestimate the importance of Anacharsis in the development of French neo-classicism and in the creation of philhellenic sentiment." Barbie du Bocage was a well-known cartographer. So well known it would be as if Rand McNally were to bring out an atlas of the travels and combats of Xena. Foxed. 7.0" H. x 8.5" W.
