The Encyclopedia Xenaica has moved from WHOOSH!

The Encyclopedia, inspired by the television show Xena: Warrior Princess, represents the reaction of hundreds of Internet fans to the "Xena Phenomenon" starting from September, 1995. It first appeared as "The Xenite Dictionary" as part of a 200 page leather bound volume which was given to Lucy Lawless by five Southern California fans on behalf of all Internet fans in September 1996. From October 1996 to November 1997, it was sponsored by the WHOOSH! website where it received the name "Encyclopedia Xenaica." It has now moved to independent sponsorship and has retained the name "Encyclopedia Xenaica" with our good wishes in December 1997.
