RE-CAPS:

From The Official Site at ABC.com:
http://abc.go.com/daytime/allmychildren/episodes/2003-04/20030602.html

Erica is stunned when Bianca insists on speaking to Lena alone before Lena leaves town. Erica is further taken aback when Lena points out Bianca's strengths. Lena once again apologizes to Bianca. Lena asks Bianca if there is any reason she should stay in Pine Valley. After sensing a shift in Bianca, Lena decides to stay and vows to prove herself to Bianca.

From About All My Children
http://allmychildren.about.com/cs/recaps/a/bl20030602r.htm

Bianca closes the door as she asks again if the reason her mother doesn’t like Lena is because she doesn’t trust her, or because she’s gay? Erica thought they were past this, saying the way she feels about Lena has nothing to do with her convenient sexuality. She reminds her that Lena lied to her and stole from Enchantment; it’s her fault Michael Cambias is in their lives, and she’s responsible for what that monster tried to do to her! Bianca insists Lena is not responsible for what happened to her, and Erica asks how she can take her side? Bianca assures her mom she hasn’t forgotten what she did, but what Michael did to her is not Lena’s fault. Erica asks how she knows Lena isn’t still on the Cambias payroll, his accomplice who bailed him out of jail? Lena denies it, but Erica’s not satisfied and accuses her of still manipulating her daughter. Bianca suggests that she understands Lena and why she did what she did better than Erica, but Ms. Kane wants Lena out of here! Bianca insists on talking to Lena before she goes, and declares that Erica can’t stop her! Erica protests that she doesn’t want to see her slip back into a self-destructive pattern, falling in love with women who are wrong for her. Lena speaks up to say that Bianca is not a child anymore; she’s a grown woman who’s capable of making her own decisions—she’s nobody’s victim! Erica is outraged that she would dare tell her how to treat her daughter, but Lena insists she cares about Bianca. Erica snaps that she doesn’t care about her—she treated her in an appalling way! Lena agrees she did, and will regret that for the rest of her life. Erica is unimpressed, but Lena says confessing what she did was almost impossible for her; what made her face the truth.

As the two argue about her, Bianca reminds them she’s still in the room, and informs her mother that she just wants a few minutes alone with Lena. Erica reluctantly leaves after asking her to be careful and remember what she did to her, and how. “As if I could forget,” Bianca tells Ms. Kundera. Erica gets a call, and asks, “You found out something about Michael Cambias—what is it?” She listens and says that can’t be—she doesn’t believe that! She hangs up after saying she’s going to take care of this personally.

Lena meant what she said, that Bianca was nobody’s victim. Miss Montgomery asks, “Least of all yours, right? At least not anymore.” Lena looks away and Bianca relents a bit as she says she’s sorry if that sounded harsh. She goes on that Lena’s mother came to see her today, and told her they were moving to Chicago. Lena apologizes, saying she’s very stubborn when she thinks she’s doing the right thing. Bianca knows the type, but says she helped her to understand what her life was like in Poland; did she think she wouldn’t understand? Lena replies that she’s never been with someone who cared, and can’t just open herself up like that. Bianca points out, “And yet I opened myself up.” She guesses that was all right because it helped her get what she wanted. Lena did what she had to, but that’s still no excuse for how she treated her. Her feelings for Bianca are the first honest feelings she’s had in her life. “And yet you’re leaving, going to Chicago,” Bianca reminds her. Lena admits she would only have one reason to stay. She knows Bianca can only listen to her apologize so many times, and after this, she won’t have to hear it again. Bianca notes that she makes it sound like she’s leaving today, and Lena agrees, “Tonight.” She explains that she gave a deposition for Michael’s trial, and will come back if they need her, but she won’t try to see her. She asks if Bianca ever wonders what would have happened if they had run away that day at the airport, what their lives would be like now? Bianca says she would have found out the truth eventually; Lena says they would have had more time together, but has to agree when Bianca thinks that would have only made things worse. Bianca picks up the strip of photos, surprised that she kept this. Lena explains that she wanted to have something to remember her by. She takes the box of her belongings and heads for the door, but drops it and turns to say she can’t lose Bianca, “Please just tell me you have some hope for us, and I’ll stay!” Bianca can’t just forget what happened, but Lena says she’s here, just like that day at the airport, “Please just say yes—you won’t regret it!” Bianca’s having trust issues, can’t be with someone she doesn’t trust. Lena swears it will be different this time, but Bianca insists they can’t just go back to the way it was before. Lena holds Bianca’s hands in hers as she says she has made her happy, and that’s everything to her! She promises never to hurt her again. Bianca knows she won’t, “Because I won’t let you.”

Bianca agrees to talk with Lena without Erica hanging around. They make very little progress, though. Bianca still refuses to forgive Lena, but Lena can sense that she's getting closer and decides to stay in PV and prove herself to Bianca once and for all...

Adam puts *sshole firmly in his place in the new company. Erica gives Adam sheer hell for not only bailing *sshole out of jail, but for taking his side in the matter of the attack. Once *sshole is out of the picture though, Adam proposes to Erica that they take *sshole down together.

ALL GAY RE-CAP

This all gay recap is by C.K..

TODAY ON AMC :

  • Everyone cries.
  • Erica goes Diva.
  • Anna's grief slides on her face.
  • Maggie kicks Henry while he's down.
  • Adam and Michael are still on a date.
  • Bianca is stubborn.
  • Anna sings for her supper.

Before The Break - Bianca and her butterfly necklace are on a mission: should Erica still be allowed to unfurl the Rainbow Flag on her porch?

Bianca: "I will ask you again. The reason you don't like Lena: is it because you don't trust her or because she's gay?"
Erica: "Bianca, I thought we were past all this. Look, the way I feel about Lena has nothing to do with her convenient sexuality."

Oh come on Erica: you'd conveniently forget you're straight if you could get away with bagging Lena and you know it! Plus, Lena is All Gay: just look at the hands.

At the hospital, Dr. Somebody tells Anna her daughter wasn't in any pain and died quietly.

Lena's Office - Erica is repeating those same lines she has been for the last 8 days about the harm done to her, Bianca, Kendall and the company. Bianca is sick and tired of hearing this, so she walks away from her mother and goes to stand next to Lena.

Lena is as surprised by this as I am, but then my brain tacks and I realize she's wearing a skirt: I thought she had pants on? Then I realize this is a rule: if there are two lesbians in the same shot and they are or have ever been a couple, only one of them is allowed to wear pants. Considering the fact that Bianca has been One With The Butch for a while now, she gets to wear them.

Erica: "She was his accomplice, his lover: how do you know she's still not on his payroll, how do you know that she was not the one who bailed him out of jail?
Bianca (turning to Lena): "Well, did you?"
Lena: "No."
Bianca (to her mother): "There."

So - Bianca doesn't trust Lena, but she assumes her answer is truthful: these are the trust issues we all should have.

Erica flails her arm and finger in the air, then reaches for the desk to stop the 360 turn she'd have made had she not had something to stop her from twirling around the room: too bad she can't use a scrunchy for her hair. Of course, that can be a good thing, too.

Lena: "Bianca is not a child anymore."

And this is proof the writers are reading my recaps. Solid, incontrovertible proof. You know, like the WMDs in Iraq.

Erica: "Who do you think you are to tell me how to treat my daughter?"
Lena: "I'm someone who cares about Bianca, who sees the person she's becoming."

Erica: "I don't believe you, and don't think for one minute that you can fool my daughter again."
Bianca: "Excuse me, I'm still in the room!"

Oh, you are? I hadn't noticed, what with the silence and you blending into the door.

Bianca: "I don't want your apologies: all I want is a minute alone with Lena."
Erica: "If that's really what you want."

It is. Beat it, Erica: you're interrupting what is not going to be the moment Bianca forgives Lena for being a lying tramp.

Erica: "Just please be careful. Please remember what she did to you. And how."

Somehow I don't think Bianca has forgotten about that, Erica. She knows perfectly well how Lena touched her. Whuh? Oh, you're not talking about that?

The Hospital - David is saying something I wish were meaningful to a baby dummy. What? Oh, all right, a baby mannequin. Better? Gosh, you're so sensitive. Anna has little patience with him, 'cause she snatches the dum - mannequin - and cradles it in her arms. It's wrapped in a blue blankie, so I'm thinking it stopped being a girl and it's now a boy: we all know that, in soaps, colors mean everything.

Lena's Office - Ah, finally alone: now we can enjoy Bianca's stubborn streak in peace.

Bianca: "Your mother came to see me today. She told me that you're moving to Chicago."
Lena: "I told her not to do this. I told her your mind is made up. I'm sorry, she just gets very stubborn when she thinks she's doing the right thing."
Bianca: "I know the type."

Aww, now you can bond over your high-strung, emotionally deficient, morally torpid mothers! Sniff.

Bianca: "She helped me to understand what your life was like in Poland. […] You never told me."
Lena: "No, no I didn't."
Bianca: "Why not? Did you think that I wouldn't understand?"
Lena: "Bianca, to be honest, I've never been with anyone who cared: I can't just open myself up like that."

Amen to that: what is this obsession with confession in this country?

Lena: " Bianca, my feelings for you are the first honest feelings in my life. They still are."

Lena, you're so lucky your Collaborator Mother is not anywhere near this office right now, 'cause she'd take a Polish pole and beat you with it!

Bianca: "And yet you're leaving. You're going to Chicago."

Oh good god! Didn't you tell her to leave you alone? You did! But you really want her to act as if you'd said not to call you. Yes, it's the Voice Mail Theory all over again: don't call me, but call me anyway and leave me a message to let me know you're respecting my wishes by calling me after I told you not to.

The Hospital - David is blah blahing about the culpability of the surgeons in his daughter's death. Of course, the fact that he barged into the OR, interrupted them and pissed them off had nothing to do with it. Anna is still cradling that blanket which I now think if filled with salame and baguettes. I go play with my ant colony while this riveting bit plays out.

Lena's Office - Bianca is still talking to Lena's b***.

Lena: "Look, I know you can only listen to me apologize to you so many times, so at least from now on you won't have to hear it again."
Bianca: "You make it sound like you're leaving today."
Lena: "Tonight."

Don't worry Bianca, you're not transparent or anything.

Box in hand, Lena gets ready to leave. Bianca, damn it, I'm gonna get fire ants to bite your ass if you don't stop her!

Lena: "I can't go! I can't do this: I can't lose you! Please, just tell me you have some hope for us and I'll stay."
Bianca: "I'm sorry, but that's not the way it works: I can't just forget what happened."
Lena: "I know, but you heard that I was leaving and here you are, just like that day at the airport."

Lena is a smart woman and that’ s why I like her: Bianca can protest all she wants, but we all know why she's really there, don't we? Plus, now it's Lena's turn to talk to her butt.

PVI Bar - Erica throws a drink at Michael and misses his face entirely.

Not a problem though, because the make-up department has fixed that for the next scene and we see SkunkAss dutifully drying his face with a napkin. AMC has a fabulous crew: no wonder they won an Emmy.

Erica: "You'll lay down with this dog and you'll never get over the flees."

LIE, not lay!

Here, learn this:

Base Form

Past

Past Participle

Present Participle

Lie: to recline or rest on a surface

Lay

Lain

Lying

Lay: to put or place something somewhere

Laid

Laying

Lena's Office - Bianca turns around again: Binks, I'm sure your ass is terrific, but I'm thinking Lena might like to see your face once in a while.

Bianca: "No, we can't just go back to the way it was before."
Lena: "I know, but - ."

They're letting the lesbians touch: what next, flying pigs?

Lena: "You have made me happy and that's everything to me: why would I spoil that? I would never hurt you again, Bianca."

And Lena, because she is sexy and European, takes Bianca's hand and kisses it, which brings me back to ER and Drs. Kim and Kerry and that whole I-get-hot-when-you-dry-your-hair thing and the hand kissage and Dr. Kim's quadruple blink and – yeah, this is better. Well, better until Bianca takes her hand back.

The Hospital - It was bound to happen: Chief Anna is singing for her supper. All right, all right: it is quite moving. I'm done making fun of it. Sniff.

TOMORROW ON AMC : Lena and Bianca are missing. Again.

PARODY

This parody is by LizzieT.

Lena parts are indicated in red for those who only want a Lena fix

Bianca arrived at Enchantment to find Erica confronting Lena.
Bianca: Are you sure you don't just object to Lena because she's a woman? Erica: Don't be silly Bianca. I'd object to anyone who came in as a mysterious newbie, sabotaged my company, and lied to my daughter.
Lena: You make it all sound so sordid.
Bianca: I want to talk to Lena.
Erica: I don't think that's a good idea.
Bianca: Don't you trust my judgement when it comes to women?
Erica: Not always. Remember the crush you had on Laura?
Bianca: That was just another one of those sad attempts to make a character popular by having everyone like her. Sort of like all the Carlos is hot scenes we're seeing now.
Lena: Have you forgiven me Bianca?
Bianca: Not a chance. Soap break-ups are never over this fast.
Lena: We're running out of time. I'm leaving for Chicago tonight.
Bianca: That's OK. In Pine Valley that gives us a week's worth of episodes to work things out.

Henry broke the news to his family that he was being expelled.
Mrs. Chin: This is such a disgrace. You were the hope of our family.
Henry: I guess I won't be a doctor now.
Mrs. Chin: It's not just that. If you had caught on as a character the rest of us might have gotten a storyline too. Now with all the rumors about newbies being written out and your storyline basically over, I think we're all in trouble.
Henry: I'm sorry.
Mrs. Chin: I don't blame you. I blame Maggie. If they had hooked you up with a more intersting character then things might have worked out differently.
Henry: I'm sorry you had to hear that Maggie.
Maggie: It's OK. Actually I'm jealous. At least they wrote in a family for you. They just keep writing my family members out.
Henry: At least you have me.
Maggie: You're part of the problem for me. I should be over at the hospital comforting my cousin on the loss of his child. Instead I'm still mired in this silly chemistry test story.

Adam and Michael met at the Valley Inn bar.
Michael: I want to take over my father's company now.
Adam: That would be stupid. You're problem is that you have the business sense of a four year old - not to mention a certain part of your anatomy that's about that size.
Michael: At least I never had to hop a freighter to get away from my father like your son JR.
Adam: Don't mention my son. He might have been a weasel but at least he wasn't a slug.
Slug: Hey, I thought you were going to stop calling him that. We don't want to have to sue.
Erica: Adam! I can't believe you're teaming up with this disgusting little man. Are you that desperate for screentime? ::::tosses water on Michael:::::
Michael: Eeekkkk! I'm meeeellllltttinnnnggggg! What a world! What a world!
Erica: Calm down. It wasn't a margarita.
Michael: Oh. Then I'll just go change my shirt.
Adam: You don't really think I'd team up with that piece of whale poop do you Erica? Join me and we'll destroy him.

Sadness reigned at Pine Valley Hospital.
Lizzie: :::sniff::::: I can't stand this::::sob:::: Parents saying goodbye:::sniff:::::that tiny little body covered with a sheet::::sob::::the last lullaby:::::sob sob::::Can this show get any sadder?::::sniff sniff
Carlos: I'm on tomorrow.
Lizzie: Waaahhhhhhhh!

QUOTES

Erica: The way I feel about Lena has nothing to do with her convenient sexuality.

Bianca: Well, did you?

Erica: Don't you dare try to twist this around now and dare try to make me the bad guy here.
Lena: I'm sorry. That was not my intention.
Erica: I don't believe you. And don't think for one minute that you can ever fool my daughter again.
Bianca: Excuse me. I'm still in the room.

Erica: This is a new and disgusting low, even for you, Adam.

Michael: I trust you can handle her. Don't get too close. You never know what she'll accuse you of.

Adam: Working together, we can hurt Michael a lot worse than a prison sentence. Individually we're powerful, yes, but together we're unstoppable.

***** (clip a) [Bianca tells Erica that Lena is not responsible for Michael Cambias' actions]

Bianca: [enters, closing door behind her] I'll ask you again. [walks toward Erica] The reason that you don't like Lena, is it because you don't trust her, or because she's gay? Erica: Bianca! I thought we were past all this. [Lena very quietly moves behind her desk and tries to pretend she's not in the room] Look, the way I feel about Lena has nothing to do with her... convenient sexuality. [Lena sneaks a peek over her shoulder]
Bianca: Oh, Mom.
Erica: And why are you so determined to defend her? Lena lied to you, she stole from my company. [longer look from Lena in the background] Sweetheart, it's because of Lena that Michael Cambias is in our lives. She's responsible for what that, that monster tried to do to me. [another look from Lena]
Bianca: Oh, no, that's not true.
Erica: [Lena's given up not-listening and is openly watching them now] Excuse me?
Bianca: I-it's not, you heard me. Lena's not responsible for what happened to you.

***** (clip b) [Erica and Bianca have an argument in front of Lena]

Erica: [Binks walks over next to Lena, who moves closer to her] Bianca, how can you take her side? Have you forgotten everything she's done? [Lena clasps her hands together and looks down]
Bianca: No, of course I haven't forgotten what she's done, [Lena looks at Binks] but... Mom, what Michael did, trying to force himself on you... is not Lena's fault.
Erica: She was his accomplice, his lover. How do you know she's not still on his payroll? How do you know that she's not the one who bailed him out of jail?
Bianca: [to Lena] Well, did you?
Lena: [shakes head vehemently and looks back at Erica] No!
Bianca: [to Erica] There.
Erica: That's it? You're just going to take her word for it? Bianca, please, don't let Lena manipulate you again.
Bianca: She's not!
Erica: How can you say that?
Bianca: Because maybe I understand Lena, [Lena looks at her, startled] and why she did what she did, a little better than you do.
Erica: No. No. No no no. You -- you, [points at Lena] you take your things, [points at door] and you go. [Lena moves toward the box behind her desk] Go, now!
Bianca: Please --
Erica: I want you out of here.
Bianca: Lena, wait. [to Erica. Lena watches them] I want to talk to her before she goes.
Erica: Bianca, no! Please, there can't possibly [takes Binks by the arm and propels her to the middle of the room] be anything more [Binks stops as Erica gestures at Lena] that you have to say to her.
Bianca: Yeah, there is, and you -- you can't stop me.
Erica: I don't want to stop you. You've made wonderful progress, Bianca. I don't want to see you slip back into a, a self-destructive pattern.
Bianca: A self-destr -- what self-destructive pattern?
Erica: Falling in love with women who, who... who are, are wrong for you.
Bianca: That's not what's happening here.
Erica: Yes, sweetheart, it is what's happening. I'm afraid you can't see it. [Lena slowly moves out from behind the desk] Or maybe you choose not to.
Lena: [quietly] Bianca's not a child any more. Erica: How dare you. You are the one who treated Bianca with no respect. You lied to her, you manipulated her, and she has been through enough thanks to you.
Lena: Still, your daughter is a grown woman who's capable of making her own decisions, she's nobody's victim.

***** (clip c) [Lena intervenes on Bianca's behalf in the argument]

Erica: Who do you think you are, to tell me how to treat my daughter?
Lena: I am someone who cares about Bianca, who sees the person she's become --
Erica: You don't care a bit about my daughter! You treated her in an appalling way.
Lena: That's true, and I will regret that more than you can imagine for the rest of my life.
Erica: Oh, in that case, please forgive me.
Lena: Erica, confessing what I did was almost impossible for me.
Erica: Oh, I'm so sorry for you. You mean because you're such a good liar.
Lena: What finally made me face the truth was a young woman who's strong enough to... to fight back and to stand up for herself.
Erica: Don't you dare try to tell me the strong points of my daughter.
Lena: Don't treat her like she doesn't have any!
Erica: Don't you do this. Don't you dare try to twist [here Lucci actually makes a twirly gesture with her finger, which makes me laugh every time I see it] this around now and dare to try to make me the bad guy here.
Lena: [immediately contrite] I'm sorry, that was not my intention.
Erica: I don't believe you. And don't think for one minute that you can ever fool my daughter again.
Bianca: Uh, excuse me, I'm still in the room. [moves away from Erica's side to face her]
Erica: Of course you are. I'm -- I'm sorry.
Bianca: I don't want your apologies. All I want is a minute alone with Lena.
Erica: If that's really what you want.
Bianca: It is.
Erica: Please be careful. Please remember what she did to you. And how. [Lena, eyes downcast, looks up as Erica leaves]
Bianca: [long beat before she turns around to glare at Lena] As if I could forget.

***** (clip e) [Lena and Bianca discuss Lena going to Chicago]

Lena: [walks around other side of desk to face Binks] I meant what I said to your mother. You're nobody's victim.
Bianca: Least of all yours, right? [shrugs] At least, not any more. [Lena looks down] I'm sorry, that sounded harsh. Your mother came to see me today. She told me that you're moving to Chicago.
Lena: [exasperated sigh] I told her not to do that. She knows your mind is made up. [slightly embarrassed] I'm sorry, she just gets very stubborn when she thinks she's doing the right thing.
Bianca: I know the type.
Lena: I'm sorry, I hope she didn't make you feel uncomfortable.
Bianca: No, she didn't. [shrugs] She helped me to understand what your life was like in Poland.
Lena: Oh. [looks down]
Bianca: You never told me.
Lena: No. No, I didn't.
Bianca: Why not? Did you think that I wouldn't understand?
Lena: Bianca, to be honest, I've never been with anyone who cared. I -- I can't just open myself up like that. [laughs uncomfortably]
Bianca: And yet I opened myself up. I guess that was all right because it helped you get what you wanted.
Lena: Look, I did what I thought I had to, but... that's still no excuse for how I treated you.
Bianca: [walks a few steps away] Well, maybe if I hadn't been raised the way I was raised, I wouldn't be... [Lena looks at Binks over her shoulder] quite so willing to believe what you told me.
Lena: [moves behind Binks] Bianca, my feelings for you are the first honest feelings in my life. They still are.
Bianca: [turns and looks up at Lena] And yet you're leaving. You're going to Chicago.
Lena: [small shrug] I'd only have one reason to stay.

***** (clip f) [Lena begs Bianca to acknowledge that they have at least a slight chance of reconciliation]

Lena: [walks all the way around the front of the desk to go to the other side -- awkward blocking, since it would take her only a couple steps if she'd gone behind. Binks moves toward the window. What's up with the vertical blinds, anyway? That's so early ‘80s] I know you can only listen to me apologize to you so many times, so... at least from now on, you won't have to hear it again.
Bianca: You make it sound like you're leaving today.
Lena: Tonight. [Now wait, Paulina just said they were leaving *tomorrow*]
Bianca: Don't you have to be here for Michael's trial?
Lena: I gave my deposition. If they need me to testify, I'll come back. Don't worry, I won't try to see you. [resumes packing. Binks, who looks conflicted and not a little put out, starts to walk away. Lena moves toward her] Bianca. [Binks turns around] Do you ever wonder... [sighs]
Bianca: What?
Lena: If we had run away, that day at the airport. What our lives would be like now.
Bianca: I would have found out the truth eventually. And I wouldn't have cut off contact with my mother.
Lena: All right, but... at least we'd have... had more time together.
Bianca: That would have just made things worse.
Lena: Yes. You're right. [removes an envelope from the desk, uncovering one of the photobooth strips. Binks picks it up and looks at it]
Bianca: You kept this. [hands it to Lena] Why?
Lena: [shakes head and smiles ruefully] I wanted to have something to remember you by. [Binks says nothing and watches as Lena picks up the box behind the desk. At the door, though, she takes a deep breath, drops the box and turns back to Binks] I can't go, I can't do this. I can't lose you! Please, just tell me you have some hope for us and I'll stay.
Bianca: I'm sorry, but that's not the way it works, I can't just forget what happened.
Lena: I know, but you heard that I was leaving a-and here you are, just like that day at the airport. [Binks turns away] Bianca, please, even if you're not sure, I am. Please just say yes, you won't regret it. [Binks turns back to look at Lena, tears in her eyes]

***** (clip h) [Bianca starts to waiver in the midst of LenaLahv]

Lena: [Binks again turns away] Bianca, say something. What are you thinking?
Bianca: I'm thinking about how little I trust you, Lena.
Lena: I know, I've given you very little reason to. [Binks turns to face Lena]
Bianca: I can't be with somebody that I don't trust.
Lena: Bianca, it'll be different this time, I promise.
Bianca: No, we can't just go back to the way it was before.
Lena: I know, but... [leans forward to hold Binks' elbows] listen, [slides hands down Binks' arms to hold her hands] you have made me happy [clasps Binks' right hand; Binks starts to reach toward Lena with her left hand but slowly drops it] and, and that's everything to me, why would I spoil that? I will never hurt you again, Bianca. [kisses back of Binks' right hand, then presses it to her cheek]
Bianca: [pulls her hand away] I know, you won't. [backs away a step] You won't hurt me again, because I won't let you.

***** (clip a) [Bianca tells Erica that Lena is not responsible for Michael Cambias' actions]

[amc030602a starts]
[At Enchantment in Lena's old office]
Bianca: I'll ask you again. The reason that you don't like Lena -- is it because you don't trust her or because she's gay?
Erica: Bianca, I thought we were past all this. Look, the way I feel about Lena has nothing to do with her convenient sexuality.
Bianca: Mom.
Erica: And why are you so determined to defend her? Lena lied to you. She stole from my company. Sweetheart, it's because of Lena that Michael Cambias is in our lives. She's responsible for what that monster tried to do to me.
Bianca: No. That's not true.
Erica: Excuse me?
Bianca: It's not. You heard me. Lena's not responsible for what happened to you.

***** (clip b) [Erica and Bianca have an argument in front of Lena]

[amc030602b starts]
Erica: Bianca, how can you take her side? Have you forgotten everything she's done?
Bianca: No, of course I haven't forgotten what she's done, but, Mom, what Michael did, trying to force himself on you -- it's not Lena’s fault.
Erica: She was his accomplice, his lover. How do you know she's not still on his payroll? How do you know she's not the one who bailed him out of jail?
Bianca: Well, did you?
Lena: No.
Bianca: There.
Erica: That's it? You're just going to take her word for it? Bianca, please, don't let Lena manipulate you again.
Bianca: She's not.
Erica: How can you say that?
Bianca: Because maybe I understand Lena and why she did what she did a little better than you do.
Erica: No, no. No, no, no. You -- you take your things, and you go. Go now. I want you out of here.
Bianca: Lena, wait. I want to talk to her before she goes.
Erica: Bianca, no. Please, there can't possibly be anything more that you have to say to her.
Bianca: There is, and you can't stop me.
Erica: I don't want to stop you. You've made wonderful progress, Bianca. I don't want to see you slip back into a self-destructive pattern.
Bianca: A self-destruct-- what self-destructive pattern?
Erica: Falling in love with women who -- who are wrong for you.
Bianca: That's not what's happening here.
Erica: Yes, sweetheart, it is what's happening, and I'm afraid you can't see it, or maybe you choose not to.
Lena: Bianca's not a child anymore.
Erica: How dare you. You are the one who treated Bianca with no respect. You lied to her, you manipulated her, and she has been through enough, thanks to you.
Lena: Still, your daughter is a grown woman who's capable of making her own decisions. She's nobody's victim.

***** (clip c) [Lena intervenes on Bianca's behalf in the argument]

Erica: Who do you think you are to tell me how to treat my daughter?
Lena: I am someone who cares about Bianca, who sees the person she's become --
Erica: You don't care a bit about my daughter. You treated her in an appalling way.
Lena: That's true, and I will regret that more than you can imagine for the rest of my life.
Erica: Oh, in that case, please, forgive me.
Lena: Erica, confessing what I did was almost impossible for me.
Erica: Oh, I'm so sorry for you. You mean because you're such a good liar?
Lena: What finally made me face the truth was a young woman who's strong enough to fight back and to stand up for herself.
Erica: Don't you dare try to tell me the strong points of my daughter.
Lena: Don't treat her like she doesn't have any.
Erica: Don't you do this. Don't you dare try to twist this around now and dare try to make me the bad guy here.
Lena: I'm sorry. That was not my intention.
Erica: I don't believe you. And don't think for one minute that you can ever fool my daughter again.
Bianca: Excuse me. I'm still in the room.
Erica: Of course you are. I'm sorry.
Bianca: I don't want your apologies. All I want is a minute alone with Lena.
Erica: If that's really what you want.
Bianca: It is.
Erica: Just please be careful. Please remember what she did to you and how.
Bianca: As if I could forget.
[Erica leaves the room; her cellphone rings; she answers]
Erica: Yes. Oh, finally. You found out something about Michael Cambias. What? What is it? Oh, no. No, that -- that can't be. No, I don't believe that. No, no, I am going to take care of this personally.

***** (clip d) [Erica confronts Adam and Michael (no Lena)]

[amc030602d starts]
Adam: No doubt we will.
Erica: Well, isn't this cozy?
Michael: Erica, what --
Erica: Adam, do you have any idea what you're doing? Any idea at all?
Adam: Yes. I'm having a drink.
Michael: We'd ask you to join us, Erica, but we know you have a history.
Erica: You bailed this parasite out of jail? How could you do that? Are you out of your mind?
Adam: I did it as a favor to his father.
Erica: Do you know what he did? Do you have any idea?
Michael: Erica, haven't you made enough public accusations against --
Erica: Stay away from me. He tried to rape me, Adam.
Michael: Oh, come on. I never laid a hand on you, Erica.
Adam: Erica, Erica, if you don't mind --
Erica: And he tried to do the same thing to Kendall. If I hadn't interrupted --
Michael: What you interrupted was a private moment between my lover and I.
Erica: Kendall despises you, and everybody knows that, and your intentions were very clear. Adam Chandler may be many things, but he would never risk his reputation to be associated with anyone as unworthy as you and he will never buy into one thing you have to say.
Adam: Erica, what I'm having trouble buying into is this scene that you're trying so hard to create.
Erica: Excuse me?
Adam: Once again you're letting your childhood trauma interfere with your adult life. How many people can you try to make responsible for what happened to you all those years ago?

***** (clip e) [Lena and Bianca discuss Lena going to Chicago]

[amc030602e starts]
Lena: I meant what I said to your mother. You're nobody's victim.
Bianca: Least of all yours, right? Least not anymore. I'm sorry if that sounded harsh. Your mother came to see me today. She told me that you're moving to Chicago.
Lena: Oh. I told her not to do that. She knows your mind is made up. I'm sorry. She just gets very stubborn when she thinks she's doing the right thing.
Bianca: I know the type.
Lena: I'm sorry. I hope she didn't make you feel uncomfortable.
Bianca: No, she didn't. She helped me to understand what your life was like in Poland.
Lena: Oh.
Bianca: You never told me.
Lena: No, no, I didn't.
Bianca: Why not? Did you think that I wouldn't understand?
Lena: Bianca, to be honest, I've never been with anyone who cared. I can't just open myself up like that.
Bianca: And yet I opened myself up. I guess that was all right because it helped you get what you wanted.
Lena: Look, I did what I thought I had to, but that's still no excuse for how I treated you.
Bianca: Well, maybe if I hadn't been raised the way I was raised, I wouldn't be quite so willing to believe what you told me.
Lena: Bianca, my feelings for you were the first honest feelings in my life. They still are.
Bianca: And yet you're leaving? You're going to Chicago?
Lena: I'd only have one reason to stay.

***** (clip f) [Lena begs Bianca to acknowledge that they have at least a slight chance of reconciliation]

[amc03602f starts]
Lena: Look, I know you can only listen to me apologize to you so many times, so -- at least from now on, you won't have to hear it again.
Bianca: You make it sound like you're leaving today.
Lena: Tonight.
Bianca: Don't you have to be here for Michael’s trial?
Lena: I gave a deposition. If they need me to testify, I'll come back. Don't worry, I won't try to see you. Bianca -- do you ever wonder --
Bianca: What?
Lena: If we had run away that day at the airport, what our lives would be like now?
Bianca: I would have found out the truth eventually, and I wouldn't have cut off contact with my mother.
Lena: Right, but at least we would've had more time together.
Bianca: That would've just made things worse.
Lena: Yes. You're right.
[Bianca picks up the photobooth picture strip]
Bianca: You kept this. Why?
Lena: I wanted to have something to remember you by. I can't go. I can't do this. I can't lose you. Please just tell me you have some hope for us, and I'll stay.
Bianca: I'm sorry, but that's not the way it works. I can't just forget what happened.
Lena: I know. But you heard that I was leaving and here you are, just like that day at the airport. Bianca, please, even if you're not sure, I am. Please just say yes. You won't regret it.

***** (clip g) [Erica tells Michael to shut up and Adam tells Erica he's on her side (no Lena)]

[amc030602g starts]
Erica: This is a new and disgusting low, even for you, Adam.
Adam: Erica, all I’m saying is that this is not the first time you've confused the past with the present. There was an incident I recall with Dimitri.
Erica: How dare you. How dare you throw this in my face.
Adam: Just the other day, you and Kendall going at it right in there.
Erica: That was completely staged. That was to trick Michael.
Michael: Quite the little showgirl, aren't you, Erica?
Erica: You just shut up.
Adam: Oh --
Erica: Shut up!
Michael: What the h*** are you doing, Erica?
Adam: Erica, really --
Erica: Adam, believe me, you lay down with this dog, you'll never get over the fleas.
Adam: Maybe we should continue this later.
Michael: Yeah, I agree. I trust you can handle her. Don't get too close. You never know what she'll accuse you of.
[Michael leaves]
Erica: Oh, if you think for one second that you can handle me after the horrible things you just said to me --
Adam: Erica, Erica, sit down.
Erica: The hell I will. What's the matter with you?
Adam: Erica --
Erica: My God, have you no humanity left whatsoever? Colby. You have a little girl named Colby. I mean, are you going to throw her in that monster's sight?
Adam: No, of course not. I'm going to make that little rat pay for what he did to you.
Erica: What?
Adam: We're on the same side, Erica.

***** (clip h) [Bianca starts to waiver in the midst of LenaLahv]

[amc030602h starts]
Lena: Bianca, say something. What are you thinking?
Bianca: I'm thinking about how little I trust you, Lena.
Lena: I know I’ve given you very little reason to.
Bianca: I can't be with somebody that I don't trust.
Lena: Bianca, it'll be different this time, I promise.
Bianca: No, we can't just go back to the way it was before.
Lena: I know, but -- listen, you have made me happy, and that's everything to me. Why would I spoil that? I will never hurt you again, Bianca.
Bianca: I know you won't. You won't hurt me again because I won't let you.

***** (clip i) [Adam offers Erica an alliance to take down Cambias Industries (no Lena)]

[amc030602i starts]
Adam: Michael won't get away with what he's done to you. Just like your day with Kendall, this was an act. Michael is no more than a willing patsy.
Erica: I want him ruined, Adam.
Adam: You're on the board of directors at Cambias Industries.
Erica: That's been announced?
Adam: Yes. Your loyalty to Michael’s father?
Erica: What are you suggesting, Adam?
Adam: Working together, we can hurt Michael a lot worse than a prison sentence. Individually we're powerful, yes, but together we're unstoppable.

The downloads are slow because it has to go through the AIM filter AND often there are a lot of people downloading along with you. I apologize for the slow speed but this is the only way that I can distribute the clips at this time.
