COMMENTARY

This commentary is by Beboman.

This was an awesome episode. There were no frills or exotic location to take away from the action and the plot of this episode. There was just some really good writing, directing and acting. The episode also had a fast moving pace. There was no need for extravagant fight scenes to wake up the audience.

This episode kept you at the edge of your seat. It had some really good suspenseful scenes.

Sydney and Nigel find themselves in Antarctica, where they have been called to check out the mummy of an Anasasy Warrior who has been dead for over 500 years. Upon arriving, they discover that all of the crew at the Antarctica station are dead, with the exception of one female survivor.

Sydney and Nigel help her out and find out what has happened. It seems that after the discovery of the mummy and the mummy being thawed out, the crew developed some type of very aggressive behavior.

Meanwhile, Sydney finds out that one of the members of her party is a government agent and that possibly one, if not two, of the station crew might be enemy agents.

When they find out there is a second survivor, they also find out that the other survivor is the enemy agent who is trying to use a deadly virus contained in the mummy for his own personal use.

There is no relic to be found in this episode. Just plain, simple intrigue and survival energy.

This episode once again shows Sydney's deep, caring side and her great deductive ability. Nigel is not the comic relief, but a solid companion and helper, capable of taking care of himself and figuring out what is going on.

As Sydney battles with the physical enemy, Nigel battles with the virus and, in the end, they both succeed.

This is a very solid, well done episode, one of the best this season.

The level of action was maintained throughout this episode. There was not a moment that we, the audience, felt let down by the action and plot in this episode.

Once again, this was a very good episode, one worth watching again.
