The West's Best State Parks from the May 2002 Sunset Magazine.
The May 2002 issue of Sunset Magazine included Malibu Creek State Park in its listing of the 28 BEST State Parks in the West. Woo-wee. They even called it "the Yosemite of Southern California". Yes, we know that is controversial, but what the hey! THEY SAID IT! That's good enough for me. It was put in the "Scenery" section. No pictures, but who cares! We are in the 28 BEST STATE PARKS IN THE WEST! Happy dance.
