Bacchae #1
Hi, my name is...
GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN (28/204)
Played by Kym Krystaly.
Definitely, a chick you do not want to meet in a dark alley in the middle of the night. She might know the latest dance steps and hang out in the trendy village discos, but avoid this gal at all costs. Along with her Bacchae pals, this chick brings home both Gabrielle and Orpheus' lyre to sugar-daddy Bacchus. The Bacchae are women under the influence of Bacchus who are just vampires by another name in ancient Greece. Gabrielle is bitten and Xena allows Gabrielle to bite her because only a Bacchae can kill Bacchus, or at least that's the story she's sticking to. [KT]

Baigent, Polly
Hi, my name is...
Doppelganger 103 in DREAMWORKER (03/103)
Played the Xena/Leah/Meg Body Double in WARRIOR...PRIESTESS...TRAMP (55/309).

Banshee #1
Hi, my name is...
GABRIELLE'S HOPE (51/305)
Played by Michelle Huirama.
Banshee #1 lives in the Forest of the Banshees in Britannia with her pal Banshee #2 and all the other banshees. Banshees are "beautiful women who can shuttle between spirit and corporeal form" according to the script for GABRIELLE'S HOPE. Banshee's #1 and #2 are unique because they actually get lines. Turns out that these banshees have arisen in order to protect and worship the baby Hope who is gestating in Gabrielle. Banshee #1's memorable lines are: "Gabrielle, we mean you no harm" and "Let us Banshees care for you. You are the chosen one, Gabrielle." Due to a quirk of editing fate, Banshee #1 speaks after Banshee's #2. Banshee #1 is frizzy but not gray, whereas Banshee #2 is frizzy and gray. [KT]

Banshee #2
Hi, my name is...
GABRIELLE'S HOPE (51/305)
Played by Nicola Brown.
Banshee #2's lines are: "Gabrielle, we honor you" and "We're your friends. We love you. We worship you." [I'm sure we have all heard THAT line before!] Due to a quirk of editing fate, Banshee #1 speaks after Banshee's #2. Banshee #1 is frizzy but not gray, whereas Banshee #2 is frizzy and gray. For more about the Banshees, see the entry for Banshee #1. [KT]

Barmaid
Hi, my name is...
KING CON (61/315)
Played by Vikki Cottingham.
Much to the relief of many fans, the barmaid inadvertently interrupts Xena and Rafe from kissing. Xena and Rafe are having an intensive conversation, which leads them closer to doing the deed. If you remember, Rafe is trying to get Xena to kiss him as part of a bet. Then, the barmaid enters and says, "Ooops! Excuse me. Sorry if I was -- interrupting anything." Yeah, right! [KT]

Boadicea
Hi, my name is...
THE DELIVERER (50/304)
Played by Jennifer Ward-Lealand.
Xena and Boadicea have a past, but then Xena does with just about everyone and their sister. Seems like the ladies did not part on good terms. While hanging out on the continent, Xena and Gabrielle hear about Caesar, Julius Caesar's plans to invade England. Gabrielle wants to follow the Angle slave Mr. Follow-the-Light Khrafstar back to Britannia, and Xena wants to kick Caesar's hinder. Therefore, they catch a fast boat to England. Once there, Xena discovers that Boadicea is preparing for a big battle against Caesar. Xena becomes diverted by her Caesar-hate and Dahak impregnates Gabrielle. Wonderful vacation, eh? Anyways, in the past the evil Xena screwed Boadicea over big time. Boadicea is wary of working with Xena again, but is too desperate not to accept Xena's help. Predictably (at least to Boadicea's fears), in the heat of battle, Xena ditches Boadicea again, when she notices smoke coming from the temple where Gabrielle was. No doubt, Boadicea is even madder at Xena now. [KT]

Bordello Girl #1
Hi, my name is...
WARRIOR...PRIESTESS...TRAMP (55/309)
Played by Fred Morton.
Bordello Girl #1 is an employee of Meg's Place, a pre-Mycenaean tavern where the customers can get more than just a room-temperature ale when the mood strikes them. One wonders if the appellation "girls" implies that these women might be somewhat underage? The Bordello girls have very little individual identities, and knowing their dialogue does not really help either. The ladies get to sing new verses to the ever popular Joxer the Mighty song as they fawn over apparently their favorite customer:
Joxer the Mighty,
Master of virility,
Every woman wants him,
He's so sexy it's a sin,

If you want a special tryst,
He's the man you can't resist,
By every measure he's a prize!
Joxer: Just check out my shoe size!
Just check out his shoe size!
Joxer: Ha-Ha!
He's Joxer, Joxer the Mighty!
Joxer: Ha-Ha!

Joxer the Mighty,
Captain of debauchery.
Never seems to get enough
Of our tantalizing stuff.

If you need some company,
With Joxer there's a guarantee,
Joxer: Of the highest potency!
Bordello Girl #1: Heck, I'd even work for free!
Leah: Take your filthy hands off me!!!
Joxer: Hmm?
He's-- Joxer, Joxer the Mighty!

After being converted by Leah pretending to be Meg, the Bordello girls get to sing "Onward Virgin Soldiers", as Leah proclaims to Gabrielle, "I'll make virgins out of them yet." Bordello Girl #1 actually gets individually enunciated lines in two scenes! She scores a line during the Joxer the Mighty song. Here she admits that she would "be" with Joxer even if she were not paid. Later in the scene, where Leah is attempting to make virgins out of the girls, Bordello Girl #1 gets the memorable line: "Hey, girls, there's a whole _bunch_ of guards coming down from the Hestian temple. Looks like it's gonna be a busy _night_!" She obviously was not progressing as quickly as Leah would have perhaps wished [KT].

Played by Chantelle Brownlee.
This poor gal thinks she's going to have a nice little village wedding, until she enters...THE XENAVERSE! Turns out that Atyminius has stolen Hades' helmet of invisibility and has used it to escape Tartarus. Atyminius is one mean dude and was in Tartarus for a reason. One of his modus operendis is to murder brides the night before their wedding. Xena knows this, so with the help of Marcus (on a 48 hour pass from Tartarus with an option of getting into the Elysium Fields), she pretends to be a bride for the night, thus saving the lives and presumably the rustic village wedding.
