| In HOOVES AND HARLOTS,
Krykus is
a devious, calculating warlord with a tatoo of an inverted
triangle on his chin. He seeks to expand his territory by
forcing a war between the Centaurs and the Amazons, then
attacking them with his army while they are distracted. His
treachery is discovered by Xena, who then allies the
Centaurs and Amazons to attack Krykus. Queen Melosa of the
Amazons, whose sister Terreis has been murdered by Krykus,
hunts him down, but instead of killing him as is her first
intent, she captures him so that he can stand trial for his
crimes against both the Centaurs and Amazons. In the
alternate universe of REMEMBER NOTHING, Krykus has
defeated
the Centaurs and enslaved all of the Amazons. He has joined
forces with the warlord and slave dealer Mezentius
(THE PATH NOT TAKEN),
who has enslaved Gabrielle and the other people of her
village. In the end, Krykus, Mezentius, and a third warlord,
Caputius, are attacked at a banquet of warlords by Xena, her
brother Lyceus, and Xena's "fiance" Maphias. Krykus is seen
to be killed by Lyceus. [ND] |
