Salmoneus is a con man with a heart of gold. It was actually Sal who first saw good in the warlord Xena, even writing a "theme song" for her. Every time their paths cross he has some scheme in the works -- from capatilizing on the "Black Wolf" (selling Wolf Packs), bottling fizzy water as "Lord Seltzer" or running the first Miss Known World beauty pageant.

Sarpedon FOR HIM THE BELL TOLLS (40/216)
Played by Craig Parker

Sarpedon is the fiancee of Princess Leandra in FOR HIM THE BELL TOLLS. He is "passed over" (briefly) in favor of the studly Joxer who only emerges at the ringing of a bell. He has a duel with Joxer and loses; and later tells Leandra that he still loves her and they reconcile with Cupid's help. [RG]

Kindly, but weak-willed Toymaker who worked for King Silvus. Senticles didn't agree with King Silvus but was too afraid to do anything to stop the King's tyranny. He was afraid of small place, but got over his fear when Gabrielle and he were forced to make a grand entrance through a chimney.

King Silvus was a bitter, grumpy old man who overtaxed his subjects and banned the celebration of winter solstice. His wife had left him years before because of his bad attitude. Faster than you can say Ebenezer Scrooge, Xena and Gabrielle showed him the error of his ways (they do that a lot don't they?) and all was well.

Autolycus pretended to be this master assassin to gain access to Malthus' island and steal the mysterious weapon. Things didn't quite go as planned when the real Sinteres showed up. Sinteres and Xena ended up in a pressure point duel to the death. Wanna guess who the victor was?

In his two XWP incarnations, Sisyphus was in turn a devious, but ultimately kind-hearted king (DEATH IN CHAINS) and a devious, but ultimately evil scuzball (TEN LITTLE WARLORDS). In DiC, Sisyphus captured Celesta (death) so he could not be killed. He realized the error of his ways with the help of Xena and Talus. In TLW, Sisyphus (acting on Hades' – so he said – command) stole Ares' sword, making the God of War mortal. He is utterly cold-blooded, and his complete contempt for anyone except himself raises the ire of the resurrected Ares, who kills him with three knives thrown to the heart. [ND]

The son of Xena and Borias. After his birth she gave him over to the centaur Kaliepos to raise. Spirited and thoughtful, if not a little hot-headed, Solan hated Xena because he thought she was responsible for the death of his parents (he does not know Xena is his mother). Eventually, Solan came around after Xena saved him -- and the Centaur village -- from Dagnine.

Son of the warlord Cycnus. Sphaerus injures Xena by shooting her with an arrow. His father is a pretty nasty piece of work who expects him to take the place of his brother who died in battle. Won Most Likely to Have a Nervous Breakdown in high school.

Spiros was from the village that Darphus had ordered slaughtered. He believed his wife and son had been killed. He joined up with Hercules in searching for Xena (see they didn't know it was Darphaus). Turns out that the baby Xena saved was Spiros' son.

The name says it all. Stallonus was one of the many vying for spots at the Academy. He was more suited to the physical, than the bardly arts. When Stallonus was telling a story you didn't want to be too close to him, because he liked to act them out in a frenzy of punches.

He followed Xena and Gabrielle when they went to bring Meleager back for trial, and attempted to lynch Meleager. Instead, Xena captured him and hanged him by the waist from a tree.
